Another cute animal from Little Cotton Rabbits website, a Foxy girl this time.

I had been eyeing her a for a while already but when I saw an alteration on this fox to make it into a reindeer (for Christmas) I was definitely sold.

So here she is.

And the reindeer change-up.

Gnomes

I know it's not Christmas yet (too hot right now to even think about winter!) but I'm always working ahead of the season.
I've been eyeing these cute gnomes for a while already, apparently they're Scandinavian Christmas Gnomes, also called Tomte or Nisse. I figured they couldn't be too hard to make so I worked on it for a few days and came up with my own pattern (you can download it here). You don't need much yarn so it's a great way to use up leftovers (which I always have an awful lot of)
I'm pretty pleased with the result and I think I'll make some more later to sell at Michelle's clinic for the upcoming Christmas season.

You can of course use any colour yarn and they don't need to be for Christmas (e.g. using green would make them look like a Leprechaun for St. Patricks Day)

Baby Booties

I've been working on a pair of baby booties for a while now.
I wanted an easy design without any seams and also the possibility of making it into a different bootie without changing too much in the design.
I think I finally got it done.
I'm pretty pleased with the result and I feel anyone who likes to make baby booties can use this pattern and with some fantasy should be able to make a lot of different styles for any occasion.

Persian tiles DONE

Persian Dreams blanket all done! I'm VERY pleased with the result, it really looks gorgeous.

I have to say that it's probably the absolute most beautiful thing I've EVER made (and that means a lot considering I've been knitting since I was 6 years old!)
I redid the whole outer edge because I wasn't happy with the first one. An extra week of work but worth it!

update I took the blanket to Holland in August 2015, to show to the lady who blogged about it
and where I got the idea to make one myself.
She gave me a very nice write-up on her blog. (in Dutch obviously :)

Cake anyone?

I don't like baking too much so with this creation I'll always have a cake ready for any occasion :)
(and no worries about calorie consumption either!)
I used 2 round boxes as filling, so it keeps the shape well.

Rainbow blanket DONE!!

My Rainbow blanket is ALL DONE. (See the start here.)

I enjoyed that very much.
It actually went surprisingly fast.
Took me just about 2 months to finish the whole thing.
Total measurement is 90 x 120cm

The original pattern (with great pictures and explanation) in English is from the purlbee website

I'm ready for my next project now.
